Recipes were unimpressive, but worth buying anyway for its fresh approach.
While this book did have some good recipes, many were not what I would have expected from a goumet cookbook, and there was very little variety. The book did contain other information as well though, and despite its lack of variety what I liked about the book was its emphasis on using fresh seasonal ingredients (grown locally too if possible). the fact that it laid out menu plans for each season and for differing amounts of guests, and that it had a fresh approach that I'm not used to seeing/ All in all, I gave it four stars anyway, mostly for originality - but not in its recipes. :)While this book did have some good recipes, many were not what I would have expected from a goumet cookbook, and there was very little variety.
